Regardless of what the Climate Change Coalition decides to do at its AGM next week, I have decided to focus my efforts to combat climate change outside the political sphere.
I am keen to continue to educate the community about climate change and, more importantly, what can be done to combat climate change. As such I am ramping up my delivery of the Al Gore Climate Change Lectures. You can check out my current lecture schedule under the "Information" and then the "Lectures" links at the top of this page.
These lectures have been extremely well received. I've now delivered to Schools, Rotary Clubs, Soroptomists Clubs, Government Organisations and public meetings. I've been able to get the message across successfully in as little as 25 minutes, however have typically used as much as 90 minutes to do this.
If you would like me to present to your club, association, school, church or group, then please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
I have been working with a group call Friends of the Environment (FOTE) which brings together teachers from across the metropolitan area to provide resources and programs for schools to undertake environmental activities such as tree planting and rehabilitation. We're working on developing the website for the group and I'll include a link to this once it is up and running.
